The warships of France, England and Spain guard the pieces of the treasure map. Defeat them or take the pieces from your rivals.

How to play

⛵At the start you choose a ship: a galleon, brig, frigate or schooner. They differ in speed, cannons, cargo hold and how far they can be upgraded. Each point of speed gives 2 tiles of movement. A random captain has special skills.
🧭The sea is hidden. Every player uncovers their own map. At the start you know your port and where your rivals' ports are. You can't see what others have uncovered. When your ships run out of moves, you choose: visit your port or end the turn.
📜Barrels and islands sometimes hold old maps that reveal part of the sea.
🏝️Islands give bananas 🍌, coffee ☕ and spices 🌶️. Sell them in a port that wants them.
🏰In your home port you can buy sails and cannons for 5 gold each and a bigger cargo hold. Each new set of sails costs more. You can buy a new ship of any type in your own port or a foreign one. It is commanded by a spare captain or a captain from the tavern for 10 gold. Click your port even when no ship is in it. In a rival's port you can sell goods.
⛏️Sail next to an island and send an expedition (1 move): gold, goods, a cannon, a castaway – and on one island, a map piece.
⚔️Battle: first a cannon volley (it damages the hull and the crew). The faster ship decides: board the enemy (all the loot) or fire another volley (sinking = only part of the loot). You hire crew in port.
🙋A castaway becomes a new captain or teaches your captain a new trick.
🛢️A barrel hides gold, goods or a cannon. One of them has a map piece.
⚡You can loot a merchant ship when you have more speed and more cannons. One of them carries a map piece.
🚢Warships carry map pieces. You beat them with more cannons and at least as much speed. They hunt weaker ships nearby.
🐙Sea monster: your dice roll + cannons must match its power. Winning gives you gold.
💨Fair wind: you sail 2 tiles further this turn.
🍺A rumor in the tavern (3 gold) shows where the nearest hidden map piece is.
🗺️The first to collect 6 treasure map pieces wins. There are only 9 of them on the sea and islands, so you have to fight for the rest.
